Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>As part of the River Terrace West and South Development - Parks and Open Space Analysis, the park service areas are based on a 1/4 mile service area for neighborhood parks and 1/2 mile service area for community parks. A 1/4 mile service area for neighborhood parks is standard and supports the goal of providing a park within a 10-minute walk of all residents. Preliminary service areas for community parks are 1/2 mile. Community parks service areas may be adjusted depending on the planned size and facilities of the park.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>As part of the River Terrace West and South Development - Parks and Open Space Analysis, the assumed net development area was determined by taking the total area and subtracting areas of steep slopes and significant natural resource areas (Riparian Habitat Class I and Upland Habitat Class A from Metro Title 13 Resource Inventory). Some upland habitat in the River Terrace West section appears to have been cleared and this area was added back into the net development area. In the River Terrace South section, there are a couple of areas that appear to be significant tree groves, and these areas were subtracted out of the net development area.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
